We are currently living in Crossville which is Jay’s hometown and where all of his family live also. Jay is currently enrolled at Roan State Community College with a major yet to be determined. He is working on basic courses until he decides exactly what he wants to do, possibly nursing or EMT… or criminal justice. Jennifer has been a stay at home mom since Levi was born but has just recently gotten a new nursing job. She will be working as a private duty home health nurse 2 or 3 days a week.
We are finally getting into a routine as a family with our newest member Levi who is growing by leaps and bounds. Levi was born on Oct. 17th 2009 and was a very challenging baby the first few months. He had colic like his brother Isaiah so there was LOTS of crying around here…. from all parties involved. Levi is currently almost 8 months old and is about 21 pounds. He sits up well and is starting to scoot around and is beginning to be interested in pulling up. He is still nursing, praise the Lord! He doesn’t like baby food except oatmeal cereal with fruit, but he loves table food. This is very different than his brothers who loved baby food and didn’t eat table food until 16 to 18 months old. Levi also has 5 teeth already. He is a very happy baby as long as he is the center of someone’s attention, doesn’t matter whose it is. He loves his big brothers and Daddy and is very attached to his Mommy!
Isaiah is 2 years old now and is growing into a sweet little boy. He is working on potty training and doing quite well. He is much smaller than his biggest brother weighing in at only 28 pounds, but he is healthy and eats really well. He is beginning to talk finally and his vocabulary is building slowly, we enjoy hearing his sweet little voice say new words. He is very persistent in getting us to understand what he is trying to communicate. Isaiah loves to play with both of his brothers, and he is finally learning to be gentler with Levi. Isaiah is also Mommy’s cuddle bunny, he loves to cuddle and hug and kiss. He also loves to sing and dance to any kind of music or to no music at all, at any given moment he will break out dancing and snapping his fingers to his own little beat, it is so cute!
Josiah is 3 years old and is very big for his age. He weighs 43 pounds and is wearing 5T or 4/5 in little boy’s clothes. He is also in a size 12 shoe! I am pretty sure he is going to outgrow his Daddy some day. Josiah has a very intense personality; he is very loud in most everything he does. He really likes things to go his way and be done at his command; he is a first born son to the core of his being. Josiah is completely potty trained except at night. This is great for Mommy, less diapers to change! Josiah is growing in his independence and loves to do things for himself. He also loves both of his little brothers and plays well with them. He is a big helper for Mommy and Daddy.
As for our family, we are not sure if we will have any more children, but for now we are holding steady with our full house. 3 baby boys in less than 2 ½ years is a lot to handle. We are just focusing on caring for and training up our 3 boys in the way they should go and trusting God for the rest of the story… watching it unfold in His timing
Love and Blessings
