More About Jennifer
Jennifer has had a passion for moms, babies,
and pregnancy for as long as she can remember. It all started as she grew up
with a mom who worked for an OB/GYN office. As she graduated high school, she
knew that she would choose a career along those lines. Nursing seemed the
logical path until her chiropractor introduced her to the idea of midwifes. The
few years after high school were spent training, learning, and traveling.
Training as a midwife and also as a missionary and Bible teacher.
Jennifer has traveled to every continent (except Antarctica) to do ministry in various forms from Bible teaching in Europe to training local birth attendants in the bush of Africa… from teaching child birth classes for young unwed mothers in India to holding and loving the orphaned babies that some of those unwed mothers chose to give up for adoption. Natural home birth is the passion that she enjoys the most at home in the US.
January 7th, 2006, Jennifer married the love of her life, Jason Meadows. On April 28th, 2007 Jennifer gave birth to her first child. Their son, Josiah Shalom Meadows, was born at 9:54 a.m. on the same day they had planned for her baby shower. What a BLESSING!
On April 30th, 2008 Jennifer gave birth to her second son. They named their son, Isaiah Samuel Meadows.
